Letter from Mrs Jennie Hughes to A.P. MacGuire in Dublin Castle

30/10/1916

Dear Sir, will you please let me know if the Chief Sec. will do anything for me re release of my husband Chas Hughes (829) who is still interned in Frongoch Camp. I am in a very bad way trying to keep the business together which owing to his absence has gone down very much. It will be quite safe to release him as he will not do anything to excite disturbances or never did or had anything to do with the Rebellion or knew anything about it. His health is certainly impaired owing to the condition he has to live under. Hope the Chief Sec. will ____________________.
