Dear Sirs, your official letter to hand 24th Inst. for which I thank you re my husband C Hughes interned in Wales. I have written to him to apply to you. I did not know by now what course to take re your previous letter. I would have written to him to write you before now. He has been in Hospital again since he went over there and as the winter is fast approaching I am afraid he will loose his health. Our business is suffering very much by his absence. I am sure you will do what you can to obtain his release. I stated before he had nothing at all to do with any movement outside his own business.
